After worship today, many of those present posed together for a picture. When I arrive in Cote d'Ivoire, I want to be able to show our hosts a picture of my church family. Worship today was a beautiful time of reflection and praise as we gave thanks to God for "Our Saints." It was a joint service between the Servants of Christ church family and the Asbury UMC congregation, whose building was damaged extensively by IKE. What a faithlift it was to
experience the support of so many from both congregations. All who were present at the end of worship participated in a time of prayer and thanksgiving as a send off for our team. What a joy! Many also took home the prayer guide created by Josh Hale. I am grateful for the support of so many. Because of the prayerful support and encouragement of many our team is expectantly prepared for God to bless our journey in so many ways. Thank you!
