The team received a note this morning from Cynthia Harvey. Cynthia and Rick (Goodrich) arrived safely last night and participated this morning in a press conference. They tell us that excitement is building for our arrival and the distribution that will start early next week.
This evening on the way home I stopped by the grocery store to stock up on my "suitcase pantry." Granola Bars, tuna fish, and trail mix will be carefully packed and ready in case I get the munchies. I forgot to purchase the inexpensive poncho suggested by Cynthia in her email this morning. Apparently it is hot and humid and rain is forecast in Cote d'Ivoire.
